Profiles
It allows users to
organise related site together. By default a news profile is selected
with a list of the top news sites on the web. The user can create his
own profile and add his own sites.
Rewind
button (First button)
The first button
allows users to move back in the current select profile. When the
news profile is select the previous two sites will be display in MediaDesk.
Pause
(Second button)
This button allows
the user to pause the auto ratio. This is handy when the user wants
to view the open web site.
Play (Third
button)
The play button
starts the rotation of the current profile. A news profile might have
the BBC, CNN, Sky and the New York Times listed and this button will
open BBC in the left browser and CNN in the right browser. After the
time period (defined in the profile) MediaDesk will the load Sky and
the New York Times. This rotation will continue until the end of the
list is reached and then swap back to the first set of web sites.
Forward
(Fourth button)
The forward button
moves the current rotation to the next two web sites in the profile.
This is an extremely handy feature to quickly find out what is on
your favourite web sites. In the news profile it will first show the
BBC and CNN web sites. When this button is pressed the Sky and New
York Times web sites are display. This is very different from current
browsers where you need to use clumsy favourites to view your web sites.
Profile button
The profile button
allows the user to configure any profile.

addition we will discuss the profile management |
